Hello!
I’m Melanka, your go-to Math Tutor for Highschool and College Math.
I started teaching 5 years ago when I was in my first year as a PhD student at University of Maryland.
During this time I have taught many courses from basic algebra to calculus to differential equations to even grad level courses as a college TA as well as a private tutor.
I have worked with students of varying capabilities and backgrounds; students from high school to college freshman to senior to even first year PhD students.
I am happy to say that during my teaching career at UMD, I was awarded the “Aziz Osborn Gold Medal in Teaching Excellence" in 2020.
It is really delightful and encouraging to see students make sense of Math concepts and move one step higher each day.
